Sightseeing: All passengers are advised to visit the nearby Shani temple in the evening. As per the Legend, God Shani is the son of the Sun God and brother of Goddess Yamuna and this temple is supposedly the first and oldest Shani temple anywhere in the world. Local people believe that the temple deity regularly demonstrates divine powers to them.

Day 2 Yamunotri – Gangotri

A helicopter ride from Yamunotri to Gangotri will take you over some amazing bugyals and snow-clad peaks. Bugyals are essentially meadows or large green patches found in the Himalayas at 10,000 feet and above altitude. Passengers may get to see the Swargarohini group of peaks during this ride.

6:30 AM : Departure Kharsali helipad

7:00 AM : Arrival Harsil Helipad

A hidden jewel near Gangotri Dham, Harsil is a serene Himalayan hamlet nestled on the banks of river Bhagirathi at 8500 feet altitude and surrounded by snow-clad mountains, pine forests, and apple orchards. Popularly referred to as the mini Switzerland of India, time seems to have stopped at this poetic hill station dotted with traditional houses and ancient temples. Some parts of the famous Raj Kapoor movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili were shot in Harsil.

  • After landing we will first go to Himalayan Nature Resort, which is 2 km from the helipad.
After check-in and breakfast, we will leave for Gangotri temple which is 22 km and takes about 45 mins by car. We provide Innova Cars for temple visits.
  • There is a walk of about 300-400 meters at Gangotri from car parking to the temple. Our teams will receive passengers and assist them in visiting the temple
  • Passengers should return to the resort by lunch time and relax in the natural surroundings.
  • Hotel: Himalayan Nature Resort is a small and beautiful resort nestled between apple orchards and Bhagirathi and Jalandhari rivers. The rooms are very good and the best part is the amazing view of snow-clad peaks which one gets from this hotel.

Sightseeing: According to the local legend, the Harsil got its name from the rivers Bhagirathi and the Jalandhari as once they had an argument over their significance.Lord Vishnu also known as Hari, was asked to intervene. He turned himself into a great stone, a shila, and absorbed their anger. Even today, after Hari-shila (or Harsil), the waters of the two rivers have become a little less turbulent. Guests must visit the ancient Lord Vishnu temple and Hari Shila which is walking distance from the resort. Enjoy the bonfire on the river side in the evening at the resort. The sheer experience of staying at this small resort is simply mesmerizing due to its amazing location and surroundings.

    Day 3 Gangotri – Kedarnath

7:00 AM Departure from Harsil Helipad

7:45 AM Arrival at Sersi Helipad to changeover of Helicopter to reach Kedarnath Helipad

The journey from Harsil to Kedarnath by helicopter takes you through one of the most enchanting peaks of this yatra. One can see majestic Himalayan peaks like Shivling, Thalaysagar, Bhrigupanth, Meru, Sumeru, and Kedar dome or Kedar peak.

We will land at Sersi helipad in Kedar valley. This is our base point for Kedarnath. You have arrived at one of the most exciting accommodations of the trip, The Tailwind Resort, Sersi.

This resort is run and managed by the Heritage Aviation team. We have very high-end exclusive rooms and are surrounded by lush green forests and mountains.

After breakfast passengers will be taken to Kedarnath. We generally give 3 hours at Kedarnath for darshans. Our teams at Kedar will arrange VIP darshans and Puja inside the temple. *The distance from the helipad to Kedarnath temple is about 500 meters. The altitude at the temple is 11500 feet. It is advised to walk slowly at Kedarnath. It normally takes 15-20 mins for an average person to walk from the helipad to the temple.

Kedarnath temple is seeing a very large number of visitors nowadays. Sometimes during the heavy rush period administration stops yatris from doing the Puja inside the garbh grah and only darshans are permitted. However, we ensure that we arrange the best possible darshans and Puja for our guests but sometimes we also have to follow administrative dictates.

Sightseeing: Post lunch in the afternoon we take all guests for sightseeing to Triyuginarayan temple. This is a very ancient Lord Vishnu temple and it is believed that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parawati were married in this temple. There is a fire inside the temple which is said to be burning for the last three Yugas. This temple is about 18 km from our helipad and by car, it takes about 35-40 mins one-way trip. Must visit during the trip.

    Day 4 Kedarnath – Badrinath

    8:00 AM Departure Sersi helipad

    8:40 AM Arrival Badrinath Helipad

One gets a very close view of the mighty Chaukhamba Peak moments after taking off for Badrinath. Chaukhamba is one of the most attractive peaks of Garhwal and the highest and best peak on our route. We will also get to see the aerial darshan of the famous Tungnath temple. The highest Lord Shiva temple on earth is also one of the main temples of the Panch Kedar circuit. If the weather is clear we may get to see the majestic Nanda Devi peak near Joshimath which is the second-highest peak in India and is also worshipped as the protector of the Himalayas by the people of Uttarakhand.

Badrinath is the main dham in Chardham Yatra. Located at 10,000 feet altitude on the banks of river Alaknanda, and in the middle of Nar and Narayan Parvat this Lord Vishnu temple was established by sage Adi Guru Shankaracharya in the 8th century ? Badrinath is a beautiful small temple town. After landing first we will go and check in at Hotel Sarovar Portico. This is the biggest and best hotel in Badrinath.

Our teams will take everyone and arrange VIP darshans at the temple. Prefer visiting the temple around 1200 noon so that you can also have darshan of bhog aarti and take Bhog Prasad. ? MANA Village After temple darshans we suggest to visit MANA village which is the last village in India. Mana is a very ancient village with huge mythological importance. It is believed that Maharishi Ved Vyas composed the epic Mahabharata with help from Lord Ganesha in a small cave which is known as Vyas Cave or Vyas Gufa in Mana Village.

BHIM PUL The Pandavas after the Mahabharata war while going to Heaven passed through Mana Village. After a 15 min walk inside the village, there is a small stone bridge which is known as Bhim Pul. It is believed that when Draupadi was not able to jump across the river Bhim pulled this huge stone and made a bridge for her. One will be surprised to see that this bridge stands without any support.

MAHABHISHEK PUJA This is the highlight of our Chardham Yatra. This Puja starts at 4 am and lasts for 2.5 hours. Only 40-50 people are allowed to sit inside the temple for this Puja and we guarantee that all our guests will get tickets for this Puja. The shringar of the deity is changed in the morning as per the ancient traditions and this is a very rare sight to witness. We suggest everyone should have an early dinner and sleep early in order to get up at 2:30-3:00 am for Mahabhishek Puja.
