Badrinath is considered the holiest of the four main shrines of utterakhand. The town situated on left bank of Alaknanda river, Divided by two mountains of Nar & Narayana Parvat. There flows ushna ganga ( warm water ) and sheetal ganga ( cold water ), Yakshas Gandharvas, Rishies and Munis always live there. The place is too sacred. Badrinathjee temple remains open from May to mid of november only. |
